Hello,
we have : KR120 R2700-2 C4 FLR
I have a problem with axis 1 and axis 6. Sometimes, when i try to move axis 1, it doesn't move but axis 6 moves instead of it. Any ideas why this happens ?
King Regards.

Are you joging the robot in "Axis" coordinate mode?
Are n't you working in a cartesian coordinate?
Is your robot brand new and with a healthy mada and robcor?
How do you try to move the axis? Describe in detail.

For example, are you using the SmartPad softkeys, or the Space Mouse? The Space Mouse is sufficiently tricky to use that I usually just disable it entirely.

What blasphemy is this!?

I just can't keep the rotational and sliding axes separate -- my fine motor control isn't good enough. It doesn't help that I regularly hop between brands.
I've also had too many times when I let the pendant dangle by my leg while holding the deadman, and the robot starts moving b/c the mouse touched my leg or something.
I think it is a personal thing.
There are programmers using only the space mouse and there are programmers using only the buttons!
I was involved (indiretly) in the developement of the space mouse but actually never used it - i like buttons
I prefer buttons too
Most time I use the mouse, but never for axiswise movements. It's one of the best features of the Kuka bots.
The thing with dangling the legs really can be a problem, but training can help.

it is not brand new but not that old either. I have been using it for 2 years. i couldn't see any problem in mada.
yes, im jogging the robot in axis coordinate mode.

I'm using buttons. for example I'm pushing A1+ button but A6 moves, then i push A1+ again but A1+ moves this time.

Did you al ready try with a second Smartpad?
