    Hi,

    I´m Working with a Fanuc P-250iB/15. controllore R30iB

Our Tool is mounted with the face at 30 degrees on the Axis numer 6, Is not a problem (Is not a problem at all)

but for our client is simply unaccettable. The Great Idea than come from this guys is to Master the Robot Axis 6 at-30 degree, so The tool will face 0 Degree.

Now the Question, I can master the robot at -30 deg, but Every time i restar the robot , the master pos Value in "single Axis Master" come back to Standard Value (0 deg for axis 6)

Is there a way, to configure the master pos for one axis different than the standard? tnx

It´s too late, But the tool (in robot) was right! the problem is only because for the operator is too complicate to understand than he must use a tool number and not the tool zero...

What you are describing should work, I've done it before myself. Are you remembering to calibrate after doing the single axis master?

Yes I did, It Works Fine, The only problem is with the "single Axis Master" menu.

When the axis number 6 is at "zero", should be calibrate with -30 deg. but the "master pos" is set to zero (normal Pos) That means than the Operator Whom can´t handle to move the robot usig tool number, should insert -30 deg every time the robot should be calibrated .

My question is, There is a way to change the Master Pos in robot , to Show -30 deg default when the menu "single Axis Master" is openend?

Why would operators be opening the mastering menu?

You can change the "(MSTR POS )" values from these system variables:

    $PARAM_GROUP[x].$MASTER_POS[x]

Power cycle for the change to take effect. I have not tried this on any actual robots, so I have no idea if this value is only used by the mastering menu or if it has a function somewhere else. Take backups and try at your own risk.

Tool zero doesn't make sense at all. Or is the tcp in the center of the flange? Can't imagine a tool like that. Jm2c.

Did you ever figure out why those value reset to 0?

We're having the same issue now, trying to master a 4 robot cell now and we go through and do the single axis mastering for all the joints, only to reset the robots and all the values we entered are gone/back to zero.

Sorry but are you trying to execute the "Single axis master" for 4 Paint robots? Or are simple Hanfling robots? The single axis master robot are Machine parameter than are used to calibrate the robot according to the axis signs. Why should you set it to zero?
