Hi
I have correct time in Windows and techpendent but time of created backups is 2 hours earlier and i dont know why.
What exact version of KSS 8.6 do you have?
How do you create the backup?
And where do you check the time of the backup?
On the robot or on a different PC?
Prpblems like that are kind of common problem with windows, timezones, UTC and local settings.
yes,
kuka is using the utc as hermann stated.
depending on time zone and summer saving time hours are added or subtracted to get the correct local time.
Getting a backup from poland and checking the backup in UK (both using local settings) will give a time difference.
Therefore I always asked for time zone and summer savings in order to have the correct time.

MOM
time zones are the same (Germany, Poland)
On both windows, on the krc and on the pc is the same time and time zone. When I do braketest and then i check time since last braketest is always 2 hours. I checked it on robot of course.
did you try to reboot the controller?
i see the same thing quite often with my OfficeLite. i did not bother to investigate but .... time does go out of sync every now and then, and the amount could be different (2h, 6h, 11h, etc.)
most of the time it seem to happen if OL is paused or suspended or host was in sleep.
We reboot controller on average 2 twice a day xD
Nevermind, i can handle it.
Is it possible that velocity of lin movment is reduced before ptp instruction?
If i have a couple lin in the row and then ptp, the last lin movement is noticeably slower. That happend in T1.
Im also confused why velocity of PTP movement is higher if i Select that ptp than if i drive in play from one ptp to another.
post the code... are they blended?
PTP is the fastest motion so in T1 it is more aggressively throttled.
so if the motion is blended, transition from last LIN to PTP would be different than other LIN motions.
I mean move from one LIN to LIN which is right before PTP is much slower. I will look at it tomorrow or ask OLP programmer. There are so many questions about KUKA....
there is KUKA training...
What do you think about kr c5? Are there big differences to kr c4?
yes,
size and KSS 8.7
The Windows Time would be
UTC
+ Time Zone
- Daylight (summer) saving time
e.g.
UTC: 13:00 Uhr
CET: 14:00 Uhr (UTC + 1 hour)
CETS: 13:00 Uhr (CET - 1 hour)
There is no two hour time difference
Hav you checked $DATE - matching with windows time?
What is Your two hour difference (time file saved or time braketest startet and file saved?)
