I have a couple of R 30 iB Ipendants that are acting different. Some make me use the display key to go back and forth between screens while some allow me to touch between them as well as use the display key. I checked and all of them have $touch_enb true. Is there a variable that I am missing? Thank you for any support.

Have you checked the system software verions? Are they the same?
Maybe here is the problem.

Is the touch display completely deactivated or only when trying to switch between the display windows?
Did you compare the iPendant settings under MENU > SETUP > iPendant Setup? You can also check the system variable $UI_CONFIG.$TOUCH_DSBL, it should be FALSE by default.
