    Hi everyone,

There you go when I launch my robot in automatic mode, he puts himself defaults, the MEMO-073 program does not exist. He is looking for PNS0008 but my program is PNS0001. I don't know how to do for him search the PNS0001. I have a fanuc 100ib with RJ3iB controller. Please help me. I hope my English is not so bad and you can undestand me.

Check your PNS1-8 inputs for the correct signal state. To select PNS0001 only input PNS1 must be TRUE and PNS2-8 must be FALSE.

That explains why the controller is looking for PNS0008. How are the PNS inputs connected? Hardwired, controlled by a PLC? If so, which protocol is used, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, etc.?

In that case I guess the PNS signals are also controlled by the PLC. You or the PLC programmer should check that signals on the PLC side.

If it is hardwired then it is either wired to the wrong input, or your UI config on the robot is setup incorrectly.

As an easy workaround, you could just copy pns0001 to pns008. This isn't a real fix, but it will get your robot running.

Yes i did that, but my company prefers to be in PNS001

Can you post a screenshot of the UI config. With that it ist easier to guide you. Select MENU > I/O > UOP, display the UIs and then click CONFIG to show rack and slot.

So your Robot is setup to get 4 signals from the PLC for PNS 1-4. The PLC is turning on number 4 instead of 1. There are 3 solutions.

    1. Have the PLC turn on 1 instead of 4.

    2. Swap the physical wiring of 1 and 4

    3. Change the Robot UOP so that UI 9 is assigned to start 16, and UI 10-12 are unassigned.

It sounds to me like you will probably do #3 above. But it also sounds like you don't understand why the system is setup the way it is. Whoever designed this obviously had a plan for which signals the PLC would send and how it would be wired. The correct solution would be to understand those first, then correct the issue.

thanks, no i don't undestand why the system is setup in this way. when i arrived on this project the program was PNS0001. I have a default SERVO-037 SERVO IMSTP input, that i have settled in change UOP auto assignment in full (CRM79) to simple (CRM79), that i had change in other direction the day before
