    Hi,

We have a IRC5 controller with 5.14 and we will upgrade the version to 6.7 or more, how is it possible?

That main computer will not support the newer version of robotware. You can go up to 5.16.

    Thank you,

For ise 6.7 or more what should we do?

If we buy a new main computer can we exchange it or need some special setting?

Changing the main computer would probably result with compatibility issues with the other hardware in the controller. If you talk to ABB about it I expect that they would tell you to upgrade the entire controller. Is it really that necessary to upgrade to the newest? If so, why?

Maybe you can help for our project without upgrade.

We will connect Senso part camera to the robot controller via Ethernet.

It said in the manual the version must be 6.7 or more and also PC interface 616 must be active on the controller.

    Please see the attachment file.

I don't know the PC interface is active on the controller or not but see the options in the picture.

Is the PC interface 616 active on this controller?

How can we change the IP address on the controller?

What do you think for connect camera with this version?

You have the PC interface option. It is active or inactive depending on whether or not you are using it. It is simply there for you to use if you need to.

I would contact that supplier to see if they have a similar product which works with the older robotware. Otherwise, you could look for a different product that says that it will do what you need it to do.

We were quoted around 35K a few months back to upgrade from 5.14 to the latest.
