To reduce the investment costs I'm considering buying a Chinese 6 axis robot for a tending a cnc machine. The robot will be around 5kg payload, 1400mm reach. Here is one candidate:

The servos are hcfa pulse controlled with absolute encoders. So if the Chinese controller fails I can replace controller and use linuxcnc as a backup.
The prices in China is only a fraction of purchasing robots from the well known brands, yet I expect support and documentation can be a challenge.
Still, I have got manuals for two different controllers, and they look like they are capable of solving my needs.
This will be my first articulated robot arm, so I do not have much to compare it against. But I thought I could ask if anyone here has gone that road with success?
Another option is to buy an old robot from a well-known brand, but they are still very expensive.
