So, i want to move my robot in z direction at a very slow speed. I can only go down to 1mm/s in tp, that seems to be the limit.. I want it to move between .2 and .5mm/s. Do some of you have any ideas here?
The robot is a m10ia.

Turn down the general override % to slow it down even more. OVERRIDE= __%
-
Depending on how fluid the moves need to be, you might also use a step/pause combination.
-
Use time base instead of speed, could be up to 3200 seconds between 2 positions !
Then could add multiple close position with CNT100 to have a smooth and very long time path.
-
Use a z offset with Lerak's time based feedrate. Distance/speed=time
-
Is Time-Based (in)dependent of Override? For example, you set the time at 16 sec for 100%, is it 32 sec at 50%, or stays this at 16?
-
Seems to be dependent.
Being curious, I just tried it.
In manual mode, a 5 second move at 100% override took 10 seconds at 50% override. -
Yes it's dependant, same for wait time value.

Thanks guys!
