Does it need to be 4.0? Most current version is free from ABB
http://new.abb.com/products/robotics/robotstudio/downloads
Basic fuctionality is free.
Yes it needs to be Robotstudio 4.0 or a version that is compatible with my robot , the newer versions of robotstudio only operate with the IRC5 system and my robot has a S4C system..
Send me PM.
This software is very big, above 450Mb.
Hi!
Could somebody be so kind and send me the files of Robotstudio 4.0? luanfale I send you a pm a while ago, did you receive it?
I would use it with at least IRB6400R and IRB 6400. Thank you!
EDIT 18/10/2018
Since people still PM me asking for RobotStudio 4.0 before reach the end of this topic, I think it is time to make some updates on this post.
First, the method described below doesn't work anymore. ABB changed their site, so I don't know any way to download older stuff from there.
Second, the link to download RobotStudio 4.0 is this one here

In fact, is still possible to download RobotStudio 4.0 from ABB site, but is a little bit tricky.
First, you will need to create an account on https://myportal.abb.com
After you are logged, click on "SolutionsBank", or "Go to old MyABB" (see screenshot abb1.png)
If you clicked on "Go to old MyABB", from there, click on SolutionsBank
You should land on the SolutionsBank page, shown on screenshot abb2.png.
From there, you can find some old ABB software, as RobotStudio 4.0 or QuickTeach.

Hello all,
it´s true that is no way to connect for example RobotStudio 5.13 to S4Cplus RobWare 4.0 ? I tried it today on S4Cplus and RS don´t see any controler on service port. Ping and FTP connection is OK. IRC5 no problem.
I need to load EIO with logical & in cross , but after restart it´s write "EIO configuration startup error -712" and than 71019 signal is not defined in cross.
Ping and FTP connection is OK.
Is there a reason you can't use FTP to transfer the files? I normally use Filezilla to back up my robot programs.
It' not possible to connect Robotstudio 5 or 6 with S4 controllers. It's made for IRC5 controllers.
If you have a problem in your EIO configuration, check the configuration error log for some hint.

Hello, guys.
Here is the link (permanent, I hope) to download ABB RobotStudio 4.0.
I really hope I'm not infringing any copyright from ABB, since this software was available from their own site some time ago.
Take notice that RS 4.0 isn't so straight forward as 5.0. is.
