I bought old robot kawasaki, FS006 model C80F-A002 and i have problem with turn on it. He was working 7 days and now Teach pendant don't work and i found a broke servo board 1HW, because in place there is short circuit. I don't know what is doing this board and I can't find it in Net. I found only it is servo module. My question is: When i have broke this module can be I can't turn on teach pendant?

Welcome to the forum..........
No such thing as a 1HW servo board I'm afraid.
1GB is the servo board which is mounted to the top of the power block at the bottom of the controller.
1HW is a digital IO board mounted inside the card rack.
Check the incoming supply for balanced phases.
Check the AVR low voltage power supplies.
Check the teach pendant connection on the pendant, panel and internal harnessing.
Go online with a PC and KCWin32 and see if the controller is actually booting up.
Try and obtain replacement pendant to test.
What was it last doing before failure.
What were you last doing leading up to the failure.
Back track your steps to see if it something you may have caused.
What have you tried to do to try and rectify it.

Ok I will remember 1HW is digital IO and 1GB is servo board.
Somebody talk me about option in kawasaki to turn off teach pendant of work. This guy thinks somebody can turn off teach pendant from kcwin, but I don't know how to connect it again. I never heard about this function earlier. Can be this true?
-
It seems to be a fairly old model? As far as I know, if the teach pendant is not connected, the emergency stop is activated on the robot itself. If no screen appears on the teaching pendant, it appears that the biggest problem is with the pendant and that the part that plays the same role as the power sequence card needs to be replaced. First, I think it would be a good idea to replace the pendant.
-
If you can obtain, try replacing the 1HP board if MFP is not faulty.
-
ok i will check it. I will try to change with another teach pendant cause i have more robots and yes all of robots is more than 10 years old
-
When i was swaping i found broken power suply and now i am waiting for another
On power suply was short circuit and i think that can be the problem of this robot, but i will send confirmation of diagnosis.
-
Are you referring to the AVR - I mentioned to check this in post #2
-
yes this but i am waiting for good one from repair
-
Today come to me power suply and 1hw board. I connected this items to c80 controler but it is don't working yet. I see power suply don't have source. I don't know what I can check. Do you know what can be problem?
I have:
- Power suply from reapair
- New 1 GA board
- 1HW board from repair
- New 1 HP board.
To power suply i have 230V and boards whichone are conect to main board is don't lightning. Can I have burnt main board? Maybe I need check something else? Realy I don't know.
Please, HELP ME!
Topic of this post is: "teach pendant don't work", but don't work all robot, sorry!

I see you never followed my advice then before panic purchasing and swapping boards.

This doesn't make sense.
Please describe, EXACTLY what you have done and replaced and results.
What voltages are available from the measuring pins on the 1GA/1HA board.
-
I power the power suply with 230V and board 1GA don't have voltage. I checked pins at board: 5V, -12V, 12V. When i conected PC with KCWIN32 i didn't have connection with the program.
I have inside controler:
Power suply from repair, but i don't know how i can check it (it is works or no)
1GA board (buy new from astor)
1HW board from repair
1HP board (buy new from astor)
I was checking voltage here
If something I did wrong please tell me and I will try repair my faults
I can't swap something from good robot because i have only this one C80 robot here

You sure the AVR is in the correct way round, looks upside down to me.

He was working 7 days and now Teach pendant don't work
So what is the full story then.......as my spider senses are telling me there is more to this.
It had power according to your first post and now it doesn't after someone has supposed to have repaired the AVR.
Only one place to look then in my opinion.
You can also confirm the status of X204 connector plug.
Pins 2 and 15 need to be linked out if you are not using external 24V power.
But this must have been there in the first place.
However, you are also throwing more boards at it instead.......

I have it from Ukraine and they send me wideo this is working. When come to me i found few things destroyed.
Now I am trying repair it but I don’t have experience. I want learn everything about robots: how reapair, programming and diagnostic.
By the way now is better than a year ago.🤣🤣
Back to the point I had broken: PowerSupply and 1 module. I sent it to repair and now it is good, but i don’t know how to check it without second robot.
I don’t understand what i need to check. Can you mark at the pictures it?
-
Your controller is now in a worse condition now than your 1st post.
So nothing has been fixed, but something else has been broken in addition to your teach pendant issue.
I would send those repaired items back and say they have not repaired them.

can i check correct working main board? I mean if I want check correct working main board I need have good AVR and without good AVR i can't check it?
-
I think I have boards in good places and corectly connect. I was checking this 10 min ago.
I disconected avr and do pictures and reconnected it.
This is at places:
1 - AVR
2 - 1GA - 81
3 - 1HP - 52
4 - 1HW - 50
I don't know what i can check else.
I don't have light on boards so if I good understand i have failure AVR. Right?
