Hoping someone can shed some light on this occurrence or point out the obvious I may be missing......
This is using Roboguide an early version H and I create a project from a clients AOA successfully without any issues.
1. If I take the AOA files, I can load files back into the virtual controller no problem.
2. If I use the ASCII conversion in Roboguide, it converts to LS files no problem.
3. If I load one of the LS files (a file that has local positions /POS and /END), then it fails to load.
- The error from Roboguide reports ASCII binary issues in the area between /POS and /END.
- If I delete the positions between /POS and /END the file loads into the virtual controller no problem.
This leads me to believe this issue is something to do with with ASCII conversion tool within Roboguide.
a. Has anyone come across this before on Roboguide.
b. Would anyone have an idea how to fix the LS file.
- this issue seems to be related to the ASCII conversion relative to the positions between /POS and /END.
c. Is this something too obvious for my aging mind to see and I have overlooked something.
Any suggestions would be greatly received and if it is something obvious you are welcome to call me a dumbass and point fingers at me and laugh.......
