Yes, I agree this is very strange.
But why did you reinitialize it in the first place?
fist time
i have power on the controller , mfp show me : ac power motor off with keyboard
next i have put the DP 1 and 8 to on and power on the controller and try the procedure 1 initialisation , backt to dip 1 on 8 off power on ,every is going good but the robot don't moove
i try to moove the robot by TB2 jump , ROBOT NO MOOVE
i try to initialise again the controller with procedure 1 and 2 (with forget to backup as/sv the file ) .
Now i have MFP white screen
If upon first power up the screen was white with keyboard displayed and no other action could be performed, then the robot was not working........At this point I would have asked for my money back.
What procedure are you referring to - please show me?
After any reinitialization the robot would never be able to move until robot data was set.
What happens if you put teach lock on, set dipswitch 1,3,5,8 ON and press/hold 2 diagonal corners during boot up?
If I am being honest, it is very strange what you are experiencing............
Just a simple reinitialization procedure should not result in white screen.
Therefore, logic tells me:
- Either something else has been done.
- Checking information I provide is not being done.
- Something is become loose, snapped relating to cables.
So I urge you once again, check all cables by unplugging, checking for bent pins, and reconnecting again.
- Making sure connections go back in the correct place.
- 1GA/1HA check all dipswitches are clean by cycling them and air/switch cleaner.
- 1HP connections
- 1GB connections (large power block below card rack).
- 1HZ Mother board connections (all of them near where battery is connected).
- Battery is wired and connected correctly.
- Remove boards, check for bent pins and push back in correct slot firmly.
- Leave Interbus board out (not needed), just 1HP and 1GA/HA in card rack.
- Disconnect all external harnesses to arm.
- Remove all jumpers from TB2 except pins 3 and 4.
- Check MFP cable thoroughly for twists and breaks (remember 20 years of use twisting/stretching etc).
The amount of times I have asked client to check and they say they have, then they request for me to come out and assist and I find that they haven't checked and I find cables not connected, boards not located etc.......and then 'click' in a cable and 'presto' things start to work again.......
This member here is going through exactly the same as what you're experiencing:
They are waiting on some spares being delivered and hopefully, they will be able to find the source of the problem.
Yours maybe a similar problem too...........
OK KAWAKISAKI
I will check again all and back to you
Thanks
this is the mfp screen fisrt power on
MFP screen after initiatialisation
and white screen after last initialisation
Those screens are not from a live controller.
The second screen is the normal boot up complete screen showing the main status.
After any reinitialization or normal power on, this screen should appear after boot up is completed.
Are you saying now you have arrived at the main status screen?
Still, I am asking what procedure you are referring to?
dear kwakisaki
C'est la procédure que vous avez donné lors cette discussion.
Yes, as you can read in first 3 lines, I give initial warning about doing at own risk.
Your initial problem you had, you should have asked here first before applying procedure, your problem now may have been prevented.
So what is status at the moment, is it still the same?
yes i 'm agree with you.
Now i have always the same problem.
I Will try to reflash the cpu board with my cpu programming tool, but i need software backup
Cou you send me this ?

I am not sure this can be done as 1GA/1HA board boot loader controls software installation process.
Please try the following:
- Remove 1GA/1HA board and check SW3 switch settings (small dipswitch bank - 1 off, 2 on, 3 and 4 off)
- Put back in.
- Remove Interbus board.
- Set dipswitch 1,5,6 to ON and power up controller for 60s.
- Then power off and set dipswitch to 1 and 8 ON.
- Power up again and post result please?
ok i Will do this ,
But about the interbus board what the controller Can do with this ?
Interbus board is fieldbus board for remote IO modules for weld timer unit and field IO and was standard IO for jaguar.
Unless you have Interbus Remote IO Modules, then not used, so may as well leave out whilst troubleshooting this problem.
May I ask, where did you purchase robot from?
Ok merci pour vos informations interbus
je dois faire ça, mais j'ai toujours l'écran blanc
j'ai acheter en Belgique
Sorry, I do not know much French.
Ok so you buy in Belgium and where are you based in Caribbean?
Can you double check connection to 1HP (4x Harness) by disconnecting, removing 1HP board.
You will see on board CNx writing for correct harness to reconnect and reconnecting as follows:
- TB2 = XHP-CN1
- Front Panel Buttons = XHP-CN2
- 1HY Relay Board = XHP-CN3
- MFP via X1 = XHP-CN4
