well. if the stick size is a problem, one can also create image of each partition separately (from version 3.x).
No the V3 and V4 sticks are same size bud. That's not the issue

did i claim otherwise?
if one has an older recovery stick (older hardware may only have 4Gb or 8Gb) and upgrades it to a newer software level such as 3.x then you get a "new" stick but without more space so when HDD/SDD has lots of data, then it is possible that both partitions will not fit together onto that stick.
so in such case, older USB recovery sticks (with older software) would be a dead end. however simply upgrading those devices to a newer software version (3.x) adds more functionality including single partition backup/restore, or doing backup/restore on a PC by connecting HDD/SDD as a external storage.
this is not the only reason to upgrade as it also means better hardware support. and no excuse to not upgrade since new software is(was) free download from KUKA.
Hi All
It looks like they have removed the updated version of KUKA Recovery 4.0 from this link or am I looking at an old link?
Regards
i think the link is no longer working so try reaching out to KUKA support.
I looked at KUKA Support but I could not find much about recovery 4.0.
