    Hello,

I have an issue regarding with making backups on fanuc robots via ftp. I made an script on my own to execute on command window on Win systems which works fine, and I also try the ERBU utility, but I find that I cannot get the backdate.dt file. My question is if there is a way to save/get this file via ftp. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.

If you get all the files it should be there. Can you show the lines of your script code that handles the get.

    Hello,

The problem is that on RJ3 old controllers I can´t get the backdate file from ftp. When I make a backup to MC (PCMCIA), I have all files. On new FANUC I don´t have this problem.

The lines on my script are the following:

    echo mget md:*.*>> temp.txt

    rem echo mget md:*.ls>> temp.txt

    rem echo mget mdb:*.*>> temp.txt

    rem echo mget md:posreg.va>> temp.txt

    Thank you in advance.

ftp> ls , when you hit enter . You will see all the list of files .ls , .tp , .va , .vc and many more.

do you see your file there ?

    Try it without the "md"

    echo mget *.*>> temp.txt

Hi Gunjan, thanks for your answer,

When I do ftp>ls, Backdate isn´t present, but only on some old RJ3...
