You need what is called E1 key for opening the cabinet door.It is a common key that is used for electrical cabinets as well.
Our kuka krc2 cabinet is unlocked with a regular triangular electrical cabinet key. I saw some vkrc2 cabinets lately and they had instead regular looking "door locks". If you don't have the key you can just drill through the keyhole or try to knock the lock with a bigger screwdriver and a hammer (that worked for us). Just be careful.
You can still jog the axis without the mouse.
You have to change with top-left softkey to +/-, and then the jog movemet of 6 axis apear with the +/- right softkeys
