    Hello everyone!
I need help in reinstalling windows 95 on a KRC2 robot - year 2003. I have the windows folder and a KIS folder and also folder KRNL UPDATE and Y2K ... not sure what is the right way to do that.
    Can someone help?

Windows "folder" -- what? In order to re-install Windows on a KRC2, you need the bootable installation CD, a keyboard, and a mouse (probably PS/2, for a KRC2 that old).

If the BIOS is not set to boot from the CD first, you'll need to interrupt the start-up test (instructions on what key to hit will show up briefly in between the power-up and the first appearance of the Windows logo), go into the BIOS setup, and change the boot order to prioritize the CD over the HD.

No CD, just a folder with Windows 95 installation in German. I don't have the installation CD with the robot...
So i need to make a bootable CD - that i understand and can do. What the KIS folder - what is the purpose of it?

Hello, for KRC2 on windows 95 you will also need to make boot floopy disk because win95 is together with KSS v4.1.7 and it is not on separate cd, rather in KRC installation folder , it is not the same as you install WinXP on KRC2(this is simpler).

You can find KUKA instructions how to install win95 and then KSS in INSTALLDOC folder, inside is install_r41_en.pdf manual with all instructions.

and when you manage to do fresh install, make a clone image of the fresh install... it is easier and faster for later use...

Unfortunately there is not installdoc folder here  it is just GERMAN folder - for German language i think - probably copied from the original CD..if you have those instructions on PDF, can you please share? I am really struggling how to install this beast

    Thank you for the help!

Installing windows is straight fowaed - insert boot CD and follow instructions.

Once the windows is installed (may take 1or 2 reboots), you install KSS.. .

It is no different than installing OS on a home computer and then installing some application.
