How can you insert "//" in program to skip these steps, I already know I can insert a JMP/LBL, but don't know how to insert "//"?

Keep in mind that "Remark" is not available in older Systemsoftware versions.
Not sure but i guess it is available since V7.xx (R30iA) -

Well that is not true, I have a Fanuc S-430iL RJ3 controller year 2000 and even I have the remark option. -
Did it used to be an option maybe, because I'm currently dealing with a customers M710, V6.4, from 2004 and it doesn't have the ability to remark lines.

I think there is some confusion, since Fanuc named two different things "remark".
There is the old remark (around since forever), donated by '!' which is a comment, can contain anything (up to 32 characters) and cannot be toggled on and off in the teach pendant.
And there is the new remark (implemented in R30iA and above controllers), donated by '//' which acts like a comment when present, but can only contain TP executable lines.

Exactly, the old one is an instruction found in "INST" and the other one is found in "EDCMD"
