    Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a KR16-HW kuka robot with a KRC4 control.
I just recently received error messages at the A5 motor that prevent the robot from working. you will find below the types of messages received.
I am a little experienced and I checked the wiring motor and connections A5 motor ; XM5, XP5, X30. the engine no longer heats. I restarted all but the error still exists.!!
    who can help me please.
something else that I need to check to eliminate this problem?

normally this would indicate problem with motor feedback cable. that is resolver cable from motor to RDC. it contains wires for resolver and temperature sensor

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

    thank you,
yes I know it's the motor return cable and it contains 4 pairs of wires (3 pairs for the encoder and 1 pair for the temperature) but I already check this cable; it is not damaged. I removed from the motor and I calibrated ax 5 and 6. the robot runs for a few minutes but still the problem returns.
are there any other things to do ??

Has this robot run before or is this the first time? If it is an old motor it may need to be replaced.

if the cable is not damaged or loose, then it is either:
    a) motor (resolver)
    b) RDC
