This sounds like a wrist singularity. If your wrist is in alignment with A4 the controller will have a difficult time moving axis to satisfy the desired position. It will attempt to unwind A4 as you call with very fast rotations of A4/A6 in opposite directions to maintain the TCP orientation. Being that your application sounds like there is no predetermined path you may need to change the mounting location relative to the "center area" to a position where a singularity will not occur in this zone. It will be difficult to write code that in a dynamic environment like yours to avoid a singularity.

Im not quite following you. What do you mean by
In KUKAs solution there is also included a redundancy strategy for KL mounted robots which alsways keeps the KL perpendicular to the robots TOOL/BASE/wrist Point. This Feature can be activated in WorkVisual 5.0 using the Tool and Base maintenance inside WorkVisual.Do you mean that in order to move a position outside of its static reach envelope that the base/tool coordinate system must be perpendicular to the linear rail at all times from start to finish? Wouldn't this severely limit the possible potions/poses that would be possible from point a to b?

I believe KUKA sell AC units which would eliminate the need to run the machine at less than 100% duty cycle.

I haven't seen any RAL or Pantone numbers in their documentation. But I know KUKA has a part number for touch up paint. Call your rep to see if it is available.

One of my customers has a battery that needs to be replaced. I had done it before and ordered the parts from KUKA and noticed they were not anything special but cost $100 each. Does anyone know what size/type they are so I dont have to pay the KUKA premium. I don't have a controller in house which is why I cant look myself. Thanks.
Edit: This is for the 24vdc batteries not the CMOS battery on the mobo.

Not sure how to fix this problem but in the future use a KUKA recovery key. Its super simple just plug in restart and an image is dumped right to the USB key.

The two USB port on the front of the cabinet normally. I've tried using the 4 port on the PC, but that did not work either. I've experienced this issue on multiple KRC4 cabinets.

Ive used a USB mouse and Keyboard with my KRC4 KSS 8.3.14 in the past and now neither device will work. In the past I've found that the USB compatibility to be quite finicky they work sometimes and not others. I'm using a standard dell mouse and keyboard. Any tips/hints would be greatly appreciated.
