I do not think so. If my memory serves me correctly, it monitors the fan speed. Thus really a way to bypass it.
When a fan motor stops on backplane unit, TP shows the following message. In one minutes
from occurring of alarm, robot stops and cannot be operated from TP. The robot can be recovered by
replacing a fan motor -
How it monitors Fan Speed If we know this ..we can fool the controller.

It has a built in encoder.

That seams a lot more difficult than just replacing the fan -

Pretty sure he cannot fool the controller. By now he should have ordered the replacement fan or fans. Fanuc does this for a reason.

I have ordered for fan ..........but procurement process taking whole lot of time & Robot is in production line.

Might be possible to strap another fan onto the bad one - the airflow would (maybe) turn the old fan to satisfy the encoder/pulse counter (unless it's the encoder that's bad). Might be able to turn the fan w/ another motor, but it's all a kludge. If the line is important to management, there will be ways to shorten the procurement process.
