hi everybody;
ı have a problem with krc2 devicenet connection. ı have 2 robots, 2 omron devicenet ı/o modul with a beckhoff plc which is connected eachother with devicenet. it was wroking fine but before a week ago suddenly one of robot connection become unstable. sometimes it disconnect and connect again witohout reason. ı have changed the cables and mfc card (with working one). ı have try to connect device seperately but nothing worked.
also when try to reset driver it giving;
2018 error restart ı/o driver dr2drv
2 driver reset devicenet failed
what shuld be the next step?
devicenet error

Hi.
Check log C:\KRC\ROBOTER\LOG\DEVNET.LOG which stations are not available, or use Telnet.
Most faults are hardware faults! The following points should be checked:
•121 ohm resistor at each end of the DeviceNet. Resistance between the CAN high (white) and CAN low (blue) wires: approx. 60 ohms.
•Cable shield must be grounded once.
•If the cable is not connected, the resistance between the wires and the shield must be greater than 1 MOhm.
•Negative supply voltage must be grounded.
•If no data are being exchanged, the voltage between CAN high and V- or CAN low and V- is 2.5 – 3 V. If data are being exchanged, the voltage is slightly higher.
•Check all the wires in the DeviceNet cable for continuity
•Check the DIP switch settings
•Check the power consumption of the devices connected.
•Check the power supply -
If the connection is intermittent, then my first suspect would be cables. Especially cables with are subject to flex and motion.
Beyond that... I would look at power supplies. Sometimes a voltage spike, or a marginal voltage, can fault a DeviceNet module. Check the V+ and V- lines when this happens again. If you have a power supply voltage running close to the limit, then small fluctuations in your supply could potentially cause this kind of issue.
The next time this happens, before trying to fix anything, check each device's status lights. This might help narrow down which device on the network is causing the issue.

lastly comminication is totaly gone for one of the robots. all conneciton cables was changed. when ı put the mfc card to other robot is working fine.also mfc card led blinking green like omron ı/o modul but bechoff devicenet modul is blinking red.(ı changed it , it happening always when ı try to connect robot which is giving error).
ı m using robot power supply ıts also 27 v dc.
lastly ı jumped devicenet shıelds and 0v to ground but ıts not worked too.
CANH- CANL voltages around 1,5v.
ı try to connect just one of ı/o modul and dısconnect others. but nothing happened again. can it be about the maınboard or about software?
ı m working on it but ı m open for ur advice -
are all nodes set to use same baud rate? if that is not the issue, i would say this is hardware related, if it was software error, CAN+ and CAN- would measure about 2.5-2.8V, instead of only 1.5V.

Some Devicenet modules don't like the KUKA's 27VDC -- technically the DeviceNet voltage supply spec tops out at 26.5V, if I recall correctly. I've run into a few units that treat 26.6V as too much.

thx everybody
ı have tried everything but nothing worked. ı removed the cabıne and send it to the service. ı will tell you what is the problem when ı learn -
service said problem is dse card and fixed it.
but my problem is still standing on me. ı have changed the troubled mainboard cabine (with working harddisk and rams), cables and ı/o modules in turn with worked krc and all worked . so 3 parts (main borad cabine wih all parts, cables and modules) in the troubled krc is working. is there anyhthing else in the krc (except the mainboard cabine )can make this trouble.
