    When i make a new base in office lite it automatically makes it an offset. I use exactly the same method as on the robot where it just creates a regular base...

    :toothy9:
    Your image is huge. Panic is making a joke :smiling_face:

    So what is the problem?
    Base is an offset of robot root system.
    I don't know French but maybe this description is correct.
    You will have to check your numbers.

    XYZ values of the base is distance in millimeters from the center of the robot (robot root)
    ABC values is angle difference from default robot root.

    Screeshots help a lot.
    Funny thing is kuka teach pendant resolution is 640x480.
    Your picture is 3264x2448 (over 2.5Mb) yet it shows maybe quarter of the screen.
    I guess you can blame modern smart phones for that :smiling_face:

    Back on topic.

    you can use phone to take picture, then using your own computer (not in the lab) resample it. the 20 downloads of you picture so far are 100Mb of data transfer (and counting...).
    this is what it should have looked like:

    use some program with image editing capabilities. this is the information age, there is zillion of editors for anything, just pick something. I use IrfanView, it is a freeware image viewer (and more).

    can you show entire screen of the robot?

    take a peek inside
    KRC\R1\System\$config.dat

    Code
    ...
    DECL IPO_M_T BASE_TYPE[32]
    BASE_TYPE[1]=#BASE
    BASE_TYPE[2]=#BASE
    BASE_TYPE[3]=#BASE
    BASE_TYPE[4]=#BASE
    BASE_TYPE[5]=#BASE
    BASE_TYPE[6]=#BASE
    BASE_TYPE[7]=#NONE

    BASE_TYPE[9]=#NONE
    BASE_TYPE[10]=#NONE
    BASE_TYPE[11]=#NONE

    I looked in the config file at this location c/KRC/HMI/Plugins/Samples/productionscreen/plugin/etc/archive/KRC/R1/system/. I replaced the config file from the pc with the one from the robot an couple of weeks ago. Now when i check that file there are only the bases from the robot and not the one i just created. Am i doing something wrong?

    probably,

    I have not seen KRC1 in ages but the path to working configuration should be same as for KRC2:
    C:\KRC\ROBOTER\KRC\R1\

    in this case, your file to check is supposed to be
    C:\KRC\ROBOTER\KRC\R1\System\$config.dat

    Don't forget that, when shutting down the KRC, it will save the contents of the RAM drive to the hard drive. So if you've changed the files on the hard drive while the KRC is running, the shutdown will overwrite your changes. You have to either make the changes in the RAM drive, or have the KRC shut down, then change the files on the hard drive.
