It is on the teach pendant, so right clicking does not work

then attach monitor and mouse with the controller PC and you can do stuff there easily.

There already is an extra monitor attached to the krc2, but its not like the "real" windows. There is no homescreen were i can see the usb in the corner right under

TBH I just removed them, it's never been an issue.

It possibly has Quick removal selected in the Windows properties so write caching is disabled. It makes sense as there is no easy way to safely remove it and performance isn't an issue.

Tell him it will be fine....but needs to stand on one leg to insert it due to "grounding issues"... :fine:

I just yank the USB key out after 3-4 seconds, never had a problem (from robot).

    edit -----
on a laptop, I have to eject it safely or the stick will likely be corrupt (IT does not understand what is meant by disabling delayed write)

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

Edited once, last by panic mode (March 20, 2014 at 1:20 PM).

I always remove USB safely from the Controller computer though. I usually click twice on the time on controller pane which allows me to see proper normal window desktop. If you can't see USB sign in status pane then you can goto My Computer and right click the USB and select Eject.

By default USB sticks are configurastes for fast ejection. I can remove USB and normally nothing is going to happen. But if, in Windows, you change prop. From USB for "performance", you have to eject it.
