Whenever i change the teach pendent mode to T1, T2 to $AUT or $ext. This alarm displays... safety circuits for drives are not ready. and robot goes to unknown operating mode. so i am not able to move robot in AUTO OR AUTO EXTERNAL. plz suggest me possible causes for it. As i have checked X11 CONNECTOR.

Unknown operating mode usually isn't a god thing...

..but what controller/KSS version/ system history etc etc ???

Uknown Operating Mode should only occur if power to the controller's internal safety circuit has been lost (assuming KRC2).

unknown mode (message 364) is result of safety circuit issue (can be faulty KCP, but usually just X11 wiring).
what controller type (KRC2, KRC4...?). different controllers have different X11 wiring.

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

If your are using controller ed05 the system has a diagnostic software.

You can use it to help.

    Menu > Monitor > Diagnostic
