Can you explain in more detail?
It's like DOS, then Windows 3.1, then Windows 95. Or a XT, then 286, then 386.
More features.

ERC - released mid to late 1980's. One line pendant. CRT.
MRC - released mid 1990's. Screen on pendant.
XRC - release late 1990's. Ergonomic pendant, icon based.The general controller size has gotten smaller with each newer generation, and each newer generation has featured faster robots.
And yes, there are still a lot of them around. Especially XRC. Some of the later XRC's are actually dual-channel compliant too!
Hope this helps

Better still;
XRC=old
MRC=really old
ERC=older than dirt -
Thanx a lot to all....

Every generation it gets better. Except for NX100 in my opinion XRC was better then NX100. Pendant was too big.

Almost, but not quite, cosmic dust left over from the big bang.
