I have a question regarding approximation of motion between two or multiple blocks, i tried finding the information in
"KSS 8.6 Operating and Programming Instructions for System Integrators"
but could not find it (yet, there are a lot of pages ).
I would like to make a project where i have multiple programs in my main program and i would like to transition between programs smoothly.
So if i have a motion at the end of 1. program i would like to approximate motion to the first motion of the 2. program. Does the advance pointer
support this kind of motion.
Example bellow, assuming all motion and approximation are set in main or at the program beginning.
Code
DEF Main()
job1()
CONTINUE
Wait for job2_Ready
Job2()
END
Def job1()
PTP pos1
LIN pos2
CONTINUE
IF job2_Ready THEN
LIN pos3 C_DIS
ELSE
LIN pos3
ENDIF
END
Def job2()
LIN pos4 C_DIS
LIN pos5
END

I am grateful for any advice, even if you only point me to the right manual and/or page.
