Hello,
I have a KRC2 ED05 KSS 5.2.14 controlling a KR150. I want to replace the KR150 with a KR2210 FLR but keep the same KRC2. Is it enough to change the MADA files or do I need to take additional steps?
Thanks in advance.

probably. they are similar enough that drives are likely the same. i would say compare MADA...
Once you connect them and power up, you'll probably get a message that the RDC and Hard Drive are inconsistent, with a prompt to select which one is "right." In this case, you'll want to select the RDC. This will overwrite the "parallel copied" data on the hard drive with that from the RDC (robot name, serial number, hour meter, TRAFO, etc).
It should go without saying that you should take a full backup (ideally, also a hard drive image) before doing any of this, just in case.
Thank you guys it worked great! Just curious though, is there a way to make a backup of the RDC?
On a KRC2? I'm not sure -- never needed to. The RDC data on the robot you removed should remain untouched, so you should be able to swap the robots back later using the same steps.
However, if you have a regular Archive backup of the KRC from before the robots were swapped, and restore that Archive, the old HD copy of the "dual data" would be restored, at which point you would get the RDC/HD conflict message again. You could then choose the HD as the "master" copy to overwrite the RDC. But generally the only time you want to do this is occasions when the RDC has failed (most often the memory chip exceeds the write cycle limit), and you have to replace it with a spare. That's about the only time you want to write the HD data over the RDC data.
