    Hello folks.

I have a question, I made some programs with the arcon instruction inside, and I'd like to know if it's possible to use them in play mode but without the welding part.

I know it sounds useless, but the Marketing service from my company wants to make videos of my work without the welding at real speed.

    Thanks in advance!

    EDIT : I'm using a MA1900 with a DX100 I don't know if that helps.

To run the job in Play at programmed speed without welding:

In Play mode, looking at the job, go to UTILITY in the menu area. In the drop-down SETUP SPECIAL RUN. Go to CHECK-RUN and press SELECT to change to VALID.

I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

I am trying something simular but my options under utility in play are the following:

    - LOW SPEED START

    - SPEED LIMIT

    - DRY-RUN SPEED

    - MACHINE LOCK

    - CHECK-RUN

    WEAV PFOHIBIT IN CHK-RUN

Is the no welding function during play part of one of the above or do i need to

install something else to get this option?

This is what i do, that doesn't mean it's the right way to do it.

That would be written in the ladder program that runs in the background. When the output from the plc comes on, the input to the controller would turn on check-run. The input would be a 2xxxx. When it’s on it will turn on the check-run specific input, 4xxxx address.

That’s the best I can tell you without knowing the controller generation.

I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

    That would be then
    STR #2xxxx
    OUT #40046

The 2xxxx would be the address coming from the plc.
