    Hello!

Help me please diagnose issue with my IRC5+IRB2400+Flexpendant set

I am setting up this installation and get series of errors displayed in log via flex: 20195-20193-10045-38200-50057(6 times)-50296-10002-20032-10036-10014-10106 (not really relevant). After that, no movement via flexpendant (automatic or manual) is possible. Only available ABB menu items are Settings. Calibration is not available. Is there something wrong with flash card content, or card itself?
Some diagnostic info: I have 3 identical sets of IRC5+2400+Flex, and tried running this set with other fully fucntional CF card, I get log records:
10045-50296-10150-10012-10015-20034-10039-10129. No automatic action is possible even after calibration. Manually I can move manipulator in any direction.
Switching furter manipulator itself bring set to full functional state.
I beleive there`s also trouble with manipulator SMB card. (I have already replaced its battery).
What action can I try for furter diagnistics? Or is this some normal operation and what that means?
My major concern, is it possible to copy such CF cards via conventional cardreader e. g. TS-RDP8K? I`ve used it with dmde tool to save an image of problem card before performing any diagnostic actions. May I broke it while reading?

    Hello,

I think your SMB card is in good state. That not cause your problem.
Do you have a complete backup? If yes, can you try I-START? After I-START your system go to base state. If after I-START (and after smb data update, revolution counter update) your system is running and didn't get failure message you can try switch off and on your controller. (Between off and on you waiting about 20 sec)
-If after switch on you get failure message maybe your capacitor bank or CF card is wrong. (Not satisfied shut down or start up process)
-If after switch on you didn't get failure message you can try restore a backup. If after restore a backup and you get failure messages, your backup include a problem. (f.e. wrong system parameters or program failure)

Yes, I do have complete backup of problem card. I-Start means return to factory defaults, right? There`s no user data to save

Yes, if you do I-START the system returns the factory defaults.

Yes, that actually worked, thanks a lot! When calibration menu become accessible, I`ve cleared manipulator SIS memory and transfered content from cabinet. Also, service message 10106 appeared, and I`ve reset it via debug menu. Meanwhile, that arises another question, what regular maintanance do IRB2400 require? Is there a service manual that describes sort of consumables (ex. oil for gearbox), procedures, precautions? Or should I post that question is subforum?

Search the Product Manual part # "3HAC022031" on the web. You should be able to find one to download.
