Hi All, Apologies for poor info. New to forum. Will research some stuff on camera integration to kuka robot first and then get back with some relevant questions.
Want to use Kuka with camera to align spiral rod in gripper with tcp. rod may not always be straight and need to insert rod tip into tube.

To what degree of precision? How "spiral" is this rod? Can you control lighting, background? What is the critical point on the rod, and how is it defined -- how would the vision system identify it?
