Make sure a hardware limit switch on an axis is not tripped.
Check to be sure you are not trying to move an axis past the software limits as well.
Is the SRDY OFF alarm there when trying to move the robot manually or just in Auto?

Yes when I try to reset my controller fault manually that's when I get the SRDY off alarm. How do I check the hardware limit switch?
And nothing works even in auto mode. -
Fresh install, or has this machine been running awhile?
(Has been running, then quit) -
It has been running for an year now.

It has been running for an year now.Probably safe to assume it's not just an overlooked jumper...
Did the error message say which axis?
I've had blown fuses generate seemingly unrelated error messages. -
it says group 1 axis 6.

Regarding the overtravel - what does the position menu say for J6 position? If J6 is past its software axis limit somehow, try keeping the shift held down while pressing reset, then jogging J6 toward its zero. Be carefull of cables and hoses going to the EOAT.
