I have just started working on a Kuka Robot that will interface to a control logix / allen Bradley PLC over ethernet / ip. The allen Bradley plc will be the master of these robots and control them in external mode.
I am working on coding this interface in Allen Bradley as well coding the corresponding Kuka Code.
I wish to use the External interface and send program numbers etc to the PLC. We have done this already using a Beckoff PLC in previous projects, So I can refer to this.
The allen Bradley interface I am sure has been done and proven in Kuka Robotic applications.
Does anyone know if there are sample code for the Kuka Robot and ideally an interface function block / code from an allen Bradley ?
Wishful thinking maybe, but this would give me a good start and save on development time
