Hey Folks,
I'm working on a KUKA robot communicating via Ethernet with a camera system. The robot and camera system echange XML strings.
It would be nice to have a setup on my computer so i could run it offline and test my code changes without having to be close to any robot.
Simply "emulating" a camera by sending XML strings with the same content should be an option.
I'm running OfficeLite 8.2.16 and have all the necessary tech packages installed.
I can set up an IP and port number in an XML file inside the "Config\User\Common\EthernetKRL" Folder.
tried 127.0.0.1 as ip (localhost) and 6008 as port number, then ran Hercules Setup Utility INSIDE the same VM and started a server listening on port 6008.
requesting the opening of the port on the robot side gives me an error, though.
Does anyone have any experience with this matter? I'm a little clueless what to try next.
Thank you very much for your time!
