I am currently having a problem with setting up the VRC connection between Kuka sim pro 3 and OfficeLite 8.3. I am running Kuka Sim pro 3 on my local and the OfficeLite 8.3 is running on VMware. I have the VRC Host set as the name of the VM computer name. When I try to connect I get the attached error message.

was it working before or this is first time setup?
how did you configure it? is VRC running in OL?
-
1. This is the first set up
2. The VM network setting is configured as Bridged and the VRC is Running in officelite.
3. Attached is the configuration page during initial setup of the Officelite VM -
Also I can ping The host computer from the VM and I can ping the VM from the host computer.

Hi! I'm facing the same problem, have you overcome it?

I solved this problem yesterday.
Just installed the VRC Interface in the OfficeLite with “Expert” user group. -
Hi there,
Im using KUKA.Sim pro 3.0 and OfficeLite KSS 8.3, and struggeling to connect with VRC to my OfficeLite. When I do press connect in Sim pro, it seems to connect because "disconnect" is lit, and the KrcVrc icon is shown on the lower right corner of the VMware workstation(See attached picture), but the OfficeLite does not start I have checked the firewalls, and ports that both OfficeLite and Sim pro uses, and they are not blocked or limited by windows firewall.
Anyone who has encounter this problem before ?

I had this same problem with connection to OfficeLite. I managed to solve it by allowing portmapper ports (111) trough the firewall.
I know this is an old topic but i hope it helps someone with the same problem. -

Yes it is documented on KUKA xpert. Basically it says there is an WIN10 update that breaks VMWARE Player 15.0 and VWWARE Player 15.5 breaks OL. This is your framework...

Hello,
where can I find ip address that I should paste in SimPro to connect OL? I guess it is not that one in KCP in the network config tab.
