kuka external axis

  • next to jog keys are labels, either A1-A6 or XYZABC (depends on presently selected coordinate system).
    touch one of those LABELS and menu will popup. you can select between RobotAxes or External Axes.

  • if its not connected to robot you can apply 24V to brake coil on motor power XM connector 4(+) 5(-) if connected to robot you can use Soft Servo function and apply torque 0 to External axis. (Note: You must be enable robot drives and safety circuits)
