Acknowledge Warning: Motor Phase Failure (Servo)

  • Hi all,

    KSS 8.3.X
    KRC4

I came back from the holiday weekend and tried moving my robot but get a "Ackn. Warning: Motor phase failure (Servo) (A1)." error and my robot immediately brakes. It says the "originator: Drive" as well. I am waiting to hear back from KUKA hotline, but was wondering if anybody else had any experience with this error?

    Thanks!

I guess this is KSS26185 (which is only followup acknowledgement message - original message was KSS26113).
if this is the case usual suspects are motor, drive or motor cable.

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

  • This happened to me one time and it was because a short-circuit between the phase and the ground in a pump that was connected in the same bus voltage of the Robot. Check if there is some problem in the loads that are connected in the same source (bus voltage) of the Robot.
