Hi all
I would like to ask if anyone knows the password for the user target on the KRC4 who normally shares directory with all robot's programms?
I would like to access them via network without any changes in the system
Here you go:
• WinXPe 1.0 User name = Administrator Password = KUKA
• WinXPe 1.1 (VKSS 5.4) User name = Administrator Password = KUKA
• WinXPe 2.0 (KSS 5.2, KSS 5.3, KSS 5.4, KSS 5.5, KSS 5.6 and KSS 7.0) User name = Administrator Password = KUKA
• WinXPe 2.2 (from KSS 5.2.19 Build85 HF03, KSS 5.5 and KSS 5.6) User name = Administrator Password = kukarobxpe2
• WinXpe 3.0 (KSS 8.0, KSS 8.1, KSS 8.2) User name = Administrator Password = 68kuka1secpw59
• WES7 4.0 (KSS 8.3) User name = KukaUser Password = 68kuka1secpw59
Thanks
Hi RS,
Thanks for your advice
But I have already checked all this passwords and none is valid
I am talking about Windows user target
This user is used to share C:\KRC\ROBOTER in the network like music, pictures etc... under Windows
If we want to access this directory we need valid password for this user
I have already tried hack this password with many programs without success...
The passwords which I shared are for accessing D drive on the controller as it is made a shared drive on the network. I doubt you would be able to access any of the directories in C Drive which is kind of locked by KUKA. I tried to hack C drive sometime in the past but to no avail so I gave up. I rather found it delightful to use D drive as a shared device and copy all the necessary stuffs using network rather than a USB stick. Then, I prefer to use KUKA interface to carry out rest of the part of copying, changing anything on the controller.
I am sorry I could not be so helpful in this case.
Thanks
"Target" is not a normal user account on KRCs. I can only assume this account was added by someone?
Anyway, if you have full access to the robot, you can simply make the C drive a network share for the Admin account, or add other accounts/permissions. In general, I try to avoid making anything in C more than network read-only.
found this, but do not how to use it
\ROBOTER\Config\System\Common\VxWin\kuka.config
QuoteDisplay More
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------
; Configuration for the CIFS (SMB shares).
; Note that the mountpoint specified as value for the "mount1" key must
; be mapped to the C:\KRC\ROBOTER directory!
;-----------------------------------------------------------------------
[CIFS]
"user" = "target" ; CIFS user name
"password" = "10E5E6F1FC1382EC15C2B585405E6695AD" ; Encrypted CIFS password
"mount1" = "\\Roboter:WINDOWS:\\Roboter" ; Default share
I do not think you can use it because the C drive or folder ROBOTER should not be shared on the network. Did you try to make it a shared folder? Did it allow you?
Thanks you all
I am able to access this folder on the network without any problem but I need to change privileges or share this folder with other user that I can create under windows or share it with administrator account for which we have a password
the password for the user "target" I have found too
unfortunately it is encrypted with NTLM hash algorithm
by the way...
it's really strange that password for the administrator we can find in many files on the kuka just written like regular text
CIFS - Common Internet File System
is used to exchange data between robot <-> workvisual
is even used to make an archive from the robot
I am already able to read many robot informations using this protocol
hi all!
no one manage to get the password from the user "target" no?
why would one need it?
its personal? idk what to answer
i dont want to go to the properties of the folder and add a new user permission (sorry for my bad english hi from spain!)
did u manage to get it? if u dont wanna share the password its fine just wanna know if u had been able to get the password
thanks for the reply!
not at all, just wondering what can be gained by it... unfortunately i do not have it.
but modifying share should not be hard so i wonder why bother with the original password.
and there are other alternatives...
did you check C3Easy? (it is a client for C3Bridge). it allows listing and accessing files on the RAM drive.
Similar things can also be done via Kuka var proxy, there is a similar solution used by robodk, see this link https://robodk.com/forum/Thread-R…id=3330#pid3330
maybe i am missing something but that link talks about transferring signals instead of program files.
I may have posted the wrong link, I'll check again in the morning, right now it's Zzz time
Iv dug out the email I recieved from Albert at Rdk to give the link I posted a bit more context
The way I would implement remotely feeding programs to a KUKA is the following:
status, status_msg = robot.ConnectedState()
if status != ROBOTCOM_READY:
# Stop if the connection did not succeed
print(status_msg)
raise Exception("Failed to connect: " + status_msg)
# This will set to run the API programs on the robot and the simulator (online programming)
RDK.setRunMode(RUNMODE_RUN_ROBOT)
robot.RunProgram("Program 1") # The ID 1 here will be passed to your controller
interesting... so using this method file need to already exist on the controller (and in RAM drive), then it can be modified (copy on C: drive) and somehow sync is triggered to reload and recompile it...
with the C3Bridge it is possible to bring to RAM drive completely new program.
I will have to give C3 a bit more of a play with, it looks like it may well be a neater solution going forward
