Hey All,
Looking for a little guidance here. I know there have been a few posts on here regarding this, but I cannot find how people diagnosed the problem:
Controller turns on fine and boots up. Proper changes have been made to allow for motion and the such including the GM safety bypass plug properly jumpered. All of this is done in T1 mode as an expert user. The control cabinet is a GM vkrc2 circa 2003 running on krc 4.1.6.
I pull the deadman switch (yes halfway), wait for drives, and when I go to jog the robot...error city.
It "usually" goes like this:
1245 quit servo bus disturbance DSE 1
1216 ackn drives error A1-6 No. TRIP
and sometimes it throws
1229 Ackn watchdog power module PM1
and some others related to power module every so often related to low voltage of pm1.
No communication errors or anything...
I thought it might be the cable from DSE to KPS, but when I pull that it throws different errors.
Any way to diagnose the power module simply or suggestions on best place to start? I should also add this robot was delivered missing the mfc/dse card and that they were replaced from a different robot. I'm wondering if that couldn't have something to do with this. Thanks.
