you can try with any 60gb ssd.
but the best way is to contact KUKA in your country and order a new drive there.
Kind regards

KRC4? how old? it may be covered by warranty...
-
well, KUKA said that they used a SATA hard drive without any other specification ,
yes it's a KRC4 , 3 years old , there is no more warranty . -
Hello,
we use KINGSTON 60 GB ssdNOW 300 for testing.
If you want a original KUKA drive you need kuka part 00-195-245 (KPC MC - SSD. Komplett).
but any SSD of 60 GB should work.
Kind regards

well , I changed my hard drive but the problem is not resolved ,
but there is a RED LED in the motherboard of the PC ,
what does it mean ? is it related with the motherboard battery ?
I have always the same message in the smartpad . -
don't bother with smartPad if KPC does not boot. they can talk to each other only when both KPC and smartPad are fully booted and network connection is established. If that is not the case, smartPad will boot and try (unsuccessfully) to establish connection with KPC.
to see what really goes on, connect monitor to KPC (analog monitor will work too if you have HD15 to DVI adapter).
still, red LED on motherboard is never a good news, it means self test failed.

Hi panic mode , I tried
to connect a monitor in the DVI connector , but the monitor still always black , the small battery in the motherboard can not be the source of the problem ?
KUKA said about the red led that i have to change the KPC , but i did't have any answer about why this problem happened ?!!Envoyé de mon HUAWEI Y520-U22 en utilisant Tapatalk

May be the motherboard is dead and nobody knows why .
-
if you can't get any video signal out, one or more of following is dead:
a) Motherboard
b) CPU
c) RAMwhy it happened? who knows... without knowing history of it and identifying fault more precisely it is hard to tell. on KRC4 i have not yet see CPU or RAM to fail. i am aware of two KRC4 motherboard failures so far and in both cases - it was not motherboard fault.

Thank you panic mode ,
do you have an idea about the price of a new motherboard ?Envoyé de mon HUAWEI Y520-U22 en utilisant Tapatalk

well i am not the salesguy so don't take my word for it but... if my recollection is right, price should be in the neighbourhood of $1000. you may (or may not) be eligible for one or another discount etc. also i don't think you can get just motherboard (unless you are ok with no warranty). swapping modern motherboard is a quick but rather delicate procedure because LGA1xxx socket have many very very delicate contacts (and those get easily ruined).
the way i see it, you will need to ship your KPC to nearest Kuka branch, let them do repair and testing. they can check if your HDD was ok or not and reload software if needed.

Hi , I changed the kpc and it's fine now.
Thank you .
