Hello ,
Is there anybody know how to set up the tracking encoder for Fanuc robot? if somebody have the manual, that will be great for me. That's very strange to me, did the robot always start the cycle after the encoder tell it the part is in the position? Does that mean the robot should be fast enough to finish the cycle before encoder tells it the part is in the position again? Hope i can get feedback here. Thanks!

Unfortunately FANUC's manuals are not allowed on the forum. Anyway you have to setup the following:
0. Check you have linetracking hardware and software option installed.
1. Tracking frame.
2. Encoder scale (cnt /mm).
3. Upstream and downstream boundary.
4. Trigger input. -
What controller?
Vision or just a sensor? -
That's a pitty! I just get this type of robot and that's the first time that we use the encoder on the robot. Can anybody send the manual to me. My mail adress: zhq55374@163.com. Thanks!

I have the same problem, i have to integrated line tracking without formation and documentation. I don't how to set up boundary propely. can you just explain quickly the procedure or send me the documentation if you have it?
