you need to be a lot more specific. which MFC? which controller?
KRC1 MFC (version...?) has some onboard I/O that are brought to front of cabinet with some ribbon cables.
KRC2 MFC (version...?) has simple DeviceNet interface and I/O is not on MFC -
sorry for not being specified , it's krc2 mfc I don't really know its version but I will attach a picture for it later btw the mfc card connected to a module via devicenet and this module has a cable for digital inputs and outputs "as I have read in the expert programming manual the standard kuka control cabinet has an mfc module with inputs from 1...16 , outputs from 1....20 "

I don't know it was about krc1 or krc2 but our krc2 control cabinet has a built in devicenet module connected to mfc card and we configured its inputs and outputs
[DRIVERS]
MFC=0,mfcEntry,mfcdrv.o
[MFC]
INW0=0 ;$IN[1-16]
OUTW0=0 ;$OUT[1-16]
OUTW2=2 ;$OUT[17-32]
and the corresponding outputs leds working fine all I need to know the pinout diagram of the module inputs/outputs sockets which comes out from the front of the cabinet in a form of ribbons cable named "x12" -
sounds like you have DN_IO 1620. at any rate, even if your cabinet does not have drawings and for some reason you don't want to contact kuka, determining pinout of any I/O connector requires only the basic electrical skill - measuring voltages and probing I/Os.
-
yes u're right , I have measured the output voltage of each output pins and it seems the module has a problem, once I figure it out I'll inform you
thank you -
I have searched for the pinout diagram for CAN IO module and finally I found it and the module works pretty good
thank you -
Hello,
I have an krc1, and i connected x11 with x808 of MFC board.
I don't know what i have to modify in iosys.ini to make it work.
I attached some pictures. -
Hi
I did it in iosys.ini
but my controller has an error:
reconfigure i/o failed
its because of MFCDRV
can not read/write on mfcdrv -
Details? You haven't mentioned your MFC version, controller model, history of this particular controller, hardware options....
