And? Want to share some first thoughts? What are nice features that you see? What is the main difference from user perspective between DX200 and DX100? Some disadvantages? I know that I can also compare specs, but you only really get to know the machine when you start using it.

The DX200 main feature is the improvements related to safety functions such as FSU, Safety over EIP, DNET, ProfiNet, etc...
Yaskawa code has been removed as well.

Hello,
It is true that you cannot access with yaskawa password?
It is true that it is not possible to change parameters or load a cmos or load all.prm ?thanks

There doesn't appear to be a global Yaskawa password. It is individualized.
You can change parameters but only what you see in Management mode. There is a one-time use password that will allow you to change Yaskawa parameters. This is based off of the MAC ID on the YCP board. You would have to contact Yaskawa to get this one-time password for that controller.
You can load CMOS but currently encoded into the CMOS is information about that individual controller. The only trouble this should cause is the ability to clone controllers. ALL.PRM should be able to be reloaded (haven't tried it), or are you hinting at changing parameters offline and trying to reload?
-
thanks for the informations
I am interested to know if you can still change offline the parameters and then reload them
-
Losing the ability to 'clone' controllers would be a bad thing for us. We use it to simplify the software installation on multiple identical machines. Just reload the correct ABSO.DAT afterwards and you are up and running. I hope a similar thing is still possible with the new controller...
-
No longer possible....
If any purchased option parameters are modified then it will not load. -
In Motosim is possible to create a cell of DX200 using the CMOS.BIN file?

In Motosim is possible to create a cell of DX200 using the CMOS.BIN file?MotoSim EG doesn't use a Cmos for any controller.
MotoSim EG-VRC can use a DX200 Cmos if your software is new enough. In EG-VRC when you add a controller and choose CMOS.bin method a dialog box pops up. This dialog box allows you to choose between the different controller models. If DX200 is listed then yes you can.
