Hi Forum,
today I have a little problem with an old HP20 with a controller NX100: it was turned off a long time ago and now I don't found the IF/ELSE function. I try to use the same parameter setted for this option in the DX100 but it didn't work. Does anybody know what is the right one?
Thanks

NX does not support IF/ELSE structure language commands. It is only available on DX and newer.

It can't be!! There are other old NX100 in the factory that have the structured language, I post the system.sys file below:

Maybe is a question of language version. -
I don't recall but i think you have to activate the fd### parameter. Try to change to 1. I will check the right parameter and post it. Regards

Yes, it's exactly what I did, but it didn't work.
There are other 'magic' parameters? -
Gentleman , most "magic "FD parameters are "paid for options" & therefore cannot be openly posted here , please be discrete & use pm 's if you must.
Today's later models FD parameters are no longer as freely available as they have been in the past .
Why should software be free , I'm sure you expect payment for your endeavours as do musicians & film makers. -
Also, the are different from model to model and sometimes just changing the FD is not enough (needs also to change SCxxx parameters).
On top of that, I believe with the DX200 you will need more than a password to modify the FD.
So, get use to pay, just like with the other robots manufactures. -
Hello Somar,
I've got no problem to pay for something of worth.
But I was really angry after paying about 800 € for the JobEditor NX.
This piece of rudimentary "software" could be reasonably charged at about 8 €.
Don't get me wrong- I'm really satisfied by the Robots of Motoman, but the
lack of transpareny and documentation is still evident and annoying.
Only the fact that nearly all competitors behave alike supports this bad habit.
Whats really missing is the possibility to get an documentation /crossref of the programming.
Perhaps they did a "better" kind of security on the DX200, but did they enhance their very stupid
text parsers even a little, too???cheers Gamma
