Currently I can use 100 position registers. Am I correct this count is limited by setting?
How to configure this limit?

go to controlled start and then program setup, I believe you can have 200 max

depending controler you use. With R30iB you can have 300 PR maybe a little bit more but I'm not sure on last part of my answer.

I only know this because I had to look it up this morning myself, but according to the HandlingTool eDoc-"You can increase the number up to 2000(for single group systems)". It doesn't mention a number for multiple group systems though.
