I'm hoping someone here can point out a silly mistake or a step I missed. I was trying to set up a cubic soft limit yesterday, and couldn't get it to work. Here's what I did:
1) Changed parameter S2C001 to 1.
2) Changed parameters S3C000-S3C005 to 9999000, 9999000, 9999000, -9999000, -9999000, -1170000 respectively. The idea was to not restrict X or Y, but restrict the robot from passing -1170mm in the Z negative direction.
3) Rebooted the controller.
This had absolutely no effect. Am I missing a step?
