I am i have a M1iA/0.5S Robot that i am trying to write programs for.
I have data structures in and parts lists in XML files that i load in to structures in KAREL code.
I would like to pass string parameters in my structures to the SR[] registers on the controller to be able to control vision processes.
The manual has functions to set the position registers and positions but it does not have anything to set the strings.
Long story short, how do i fill the SR[] register from a Karel (.kl) program. [Or pass any string so that i can use it as a parameter in a TP (.ls) program]
I have tried SET_VAR(entry, '*SYSTEM*', '$SR[1]', 'TEST', STATUS) without andy success.
While writing that code i was inspired by this piece of code that i found on the manual.
GET_VAR (entry, ’*SYSTEM*’, ’$VR[1].$OFFSET.$R’,Roffset, STATUS) --> if it works for VR register why not for SR
