The problem finally solved. First we checked the IGBT which was working properly. And then we checked the feedback circuit and CT, which was the problem, and by repairing it, the problem was solved.

Any advice to fix this error?

Hello,
We have a kuka KRC1 that has the error under voltage PM1. Can this error be from software settings?
-
There is a kuka krc1 robot that has "under voltage pm1" error. We can't move the robot but when we open the power socket of joint 4 we can move other joints in manual mode.
Any recommendations for repairing PM6-600 board to overcome this error? Any electronic circuit diagram and BOM part lists of PM6-600?
For more information we opened pm6-600 and checked IGBTs and their firing circuits and noticed that they are working well. We replace sockets of motor joint 4 and 5 together and the error goes to joint 5 that means the problem is not from motor side. Now we should check the PM1 board of PM6-600 that has many ICs. Is there any circuit diagram for PM1? Any recommendations for repairing this board?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,
It means we should buy and replace another card?
is there any other solution?
-
Hi,
Refer to TSGIR answer to my question, now the question is how can adjust PNP and NPN of the IO card? Is there any DIP switch setting?

Hello,
I want to share my experience about this question.
The Yaskawa paint robot (I check EPX2900) uses a system that named "Air Purging". It has a separate controller. When the robot turns on Air purging system first vacuums the motor cover area to sure that it evacuate all explosive paint and solvent gases and then it fills the motor covers with an air pressure and monitors this pressure and generate error if air pressure drop happens. If no error exist Air purging controllers let the robot controller to work.
I think this is the way that let Yaskawa uses non ex motors for joints of this paint robot type.

Hello,
We bought a complete spare JZNC-NIF-02B-2 card with JANCD-NIO02B for an EPX2900/NX100 robot. When we replace the card we have interlock problem ("Air purging" error).
The replaced card has similar order code with original card exept that the original card revision is C and the spare revision card is D. The robot controller detects this card as NIO01-02 instead of NIO02-02 and we can't change it.
Any experience in replacing this card? Please help me.
Thank you

Thank you. May you right but paint robots normally have hallow wrist and paint valves install over their arms to reduce clearing solvent consumption. Also they design in a way that you can connect electrostatic atomizers to their wrist. This require that the wrist isolated from high voltage. They cover robot and connect the cover to an air pressure source to prevent entering paint. Also the robot joint designed for smooth speed instead of accurate position.
I think may the isolation gap required for high voltage of electrostatic painting limited us for using painting robots for paint applications and may we can use arc welding robots with cover and air pressure connection for non electrostatic painting.
Any idea?

Hello,
First please check label of a yaskawa painting servomotor in attached photo. It seems it is not an ATEX motor. The question is, if I cover an Arc welding robot and atach a pipe of air pressure to it to prevent entering paint to the robot, can I use such robot for non electrostatc painting?
Anyone has any experience?

Thank you very much.

Hello
In the product manual I can find oil replacement period of axis 5 and 6 easily but I can't find any clear specification about oil replacemet period of other axis in ABB IRB 1600.
What is the oil replacement period of this model in axis 1 to 4?
Attachement is a screen shot of manual could help. -
Sorry, my colleague forgot to say me he used offline programming and I think he has a mistake in code generating.

Hello everybody,
I don't know why Hyundai robot rotates before going to next point?
Please see attached photo and clip. -
Thank you very much. I noticed some points but is there any KUKA (or other brands) manual, photos, clips and tools for ceiling installation?
-
Hello,
Is there any guidance for ceiling installation of a small payload KUKA robot?
I have several questions. What is the standard way of handling the robot for ceiling installation? How I should design the base so in the future I can easier repair it if needed?
Any experience and guidance?
Thank you. -
Last friday I visited mercedes benz factory in Bremen. At the end of press shop there are 2 KRC1 KR125 robots that installed on the ceiling and handling the parts to conveyor. Unfortunately no one there to answer technical questions about counter balance. Also taking photo was forbidden during the visit.
If anyone wants to see them can booked a factory visit from the link http://www.bremen-tourism.de/mercedes-benz-factory-tour-bremen
They show you only press and trim shop. -
Thank you.
One friends said me only by changing MADA I can use normal KR6/2. Is it? General question; How can I use a robot on ceiling?
Supplementary load will not change?
Can someone give me a document about KR6/2 show me the supplementary load of it when install on ceiling?
