Hello,
I have a device that makes d= 2mm plastic thread that is being wound on 20 cm spools. I have two spools and the one is winding and another is idle.
1.When I start the device, I manually pick up the thread and insert it in the hole in the first spool and the spool start winding.
2. When the spool is full, I cut the thread and insert the wire in the hole in the second spool and it will start winding.
3. Then I remove the first spool and replaced it with an empty spool,
4. When the second spool is full, I cut the thread and insert it in the first spool and so on...
It takes roughly 3 min to wind the spool.
I'd like to replace me in this process with a robotic manipulator that I can buy without selling one of my organs. . My experience with automation is limited to the use of simple controllers that get an output from various sensors and run steppers, pneumatic valves and optical devices. Any suggestions are highly appreciated!
