good afternoon forum, I have a FANUC R-30iA controller which does not allow me to do cold starts or hot starts, and when executing them it shows a screen charging at 5%, there it stops and then it leaves the TEACH PENDANT inactive and I do not It allows me to do nothing after that, it only allows me to do controlled starts and I don't have communication from the TEACH PENDANT with the robot, I can't master or calibrate the robot either, when I don't do any type of start (cold, hot or controlled) it also stops working and the teach pendant leaves me inactive. Has anyone experienced something similar or will they have a solution for this series of errors?

What's a hot start? Like just from the from the controller also I do have a question I always just turn off my the controller is that bad?

Hot start retains I/O and program state. It's set from the System>Config menu. I don't know of any reason not to turn of the controller, I've been doing that for 8 years with no ill effects.

Ok yea I like turning my stuff off and on to make sure no one messed it up. I never really mind running a couple cycles to make sure everything is going good.
