    Hello guys, how you doing?

I'm trying to reestablish the devicenet connection with a KUKA KRC2 KR16-2 with a Fronius soldering machine (My company bought the robot with no cables so a had to get them all then try to comunicate with the soldering machine via dn). The archtech is all configured but the devicenet keeps acusing error, attached are some photos of the current situation, could you please advise what I'm missing?

welder is set to correct node matching config files.

IO size is plausible and probably correct if used before.

the thing you did is exactly part you did not show - the wiring...

and that is where 99% of problems are.

make sure bus is powered (YOU need to bring 24V to devicenet bus), and terminated. i do not see terminator on the fronius side and cabinet side is not shown.

DC power in KRC is 27.1V and will be just fine even though DeviceNet specs calls for 24V. normally this is protected by 2A fuse. also make sure that DN bus shield is grounded in one place - at the KRC.

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

    3) read 1 and 2

Solved, 24V to the devicenet cable was what I was missing.

    Thank you Panic Mode!
